Cal U’s Student Activities Board (SAB) provides students with many practical experiences in the planning and promotion of entertainment related events for the university community. They work with musicians, stand-up comedians, spoken word artists, hypnotists, magicians, and plan a variety of novelty events such as build-your-own stuffed animals and make-your-own tie dye t-shirts.

And those who graduate with leadership experiences in SAB have been successful in pursuing full time careers in the entertainment industry.

In this episode of “Cal U Connections,” Gary Smith talks with Melissa Dunn, director of Student Activities and Leadership for the Office of Student Affairs, and Lindsey Leonard, ’15, talent agent for NEON Entertainment.
