Have you ever walked past Coover Hall and wondered what was in the building or who it was named after?
Built in 1937, it was previously known as The Industrial Art building.
It was and still is the home of applied engineering and technology programs. It also houses art and graphic design courses as well.
The name Coover comes from a professor named Shriver L. Coover, who was part of the Industrial Arts faculty at California State Teachers College. This building was dedicated to him in 1975.
