On Sunday, Aug. 24, students and faculty came together for the first Club and Organization Fair of the spring 2025 semester. The fair was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on 3rd Street.
Every club and organization was offered space to show off their achievements and goals, as well as an opportunity to recruit new members.
Both new and returning students got a glimpse of all that campus life has to offer. Students used the fair to make new connections, participate in on-campus activities, and grow their organizations.
With over 100 clubs and organizations, whether students are interested in sports, religion, or pursuing their hobbies, PennWest California has something for everyone to become involved in.
Student Eric Walker, who took the time to visit every table and speak to every club at the fair, said, “Some of those clubs definitely shouldn’t exist, but about a third of them are good.”
He then went on to add that everyone in the community that he spoke to while visiting tables was “very sociable and communicative,” creating a welcoming campus environment.
