The 2nd Annual Day of Giving is fast approaching. Giving Day is Thursday, March 21st all day. This year’s theme is shown by the flower on the logo which representing blooming and showering students with scholarship support.
Money donated goes to scholarship support in areas including academics, veterans, faculty/staff, student orgs, DEI, athletics, and more.
Each year there is a specific goal for donors to aim for and this year’s goal is 200 donors.
Randi Minerva the Executive Director of Annual Giving highlighted the importance of giving back revolves around having a passion for the university. She stated it is, “a way of preserving the past to continue the future.”
Minerva also mentioned, “knowing you are making a difference still even if you are not here on campus. You are preserving that legacy.”
