As we’re getting into early February with the groundhog seeing his shadow and more winter on the way. Valentine’s day is approaching, which means that there will be an abundance of flowers, chocolate, cards, and stuffed animals being given out to that special someone. Many go out to dinner, others to the movies, and others just enjoy a night in. However, Haunted Hills Estate Scream Park brings a new kind of date night.

HHESP is returning for the third year, they have opened the gates for “Valentine’s Fear Fest,” one of a few haunted houses in the country that open at this time of year. The Estate will be opening its two attractions on top of the hill along with the midway.

The Estate had this to say.

“Haunted Hills Estate Scream Parkin Uniontown, PA will be opening “Valentine’s Fear Fest”, an immersive and unique Haunted Valentine’s Event, for two Nights this February. The Park has previously presented successful Valentines’ Haunted Events over the last two years, as well as a Haunted Christmas event, which was named by The Travel Channel as one of the Top 10 Scariest Christmas Haunted Houses in the Country. Following the yuletide terrors, the Park outfits two of its Haunted Houses with outrageous Valentine’s decor and new, fearful creatures.

This promises to be a unique type of experience for the area, complete with a Killer Cupid, “Love Demons”, Serial Killers, and many more dark characters. Additionally, the park’s “House” attraction has been turned into “Date Fright”, an interactive experience where visitors

must use Ultra-Violet flashlights to avoid vicious ghosts while finding their way through the House in complete darkness.

“We’re always looking to push the envelope and offer our customers and fans unique experiences in the off-season,” says Aidan P. Finnegan, the event’s Marketing Director. “Our Valentine’s event has proven to be one of our most successful events, so we thought the next logical step would be to increase the interactivity of the experience.

By giving our visitors flashlights in our “Date Fright” attraction, the experience will feel like more of a live-action horror videogame, which will be more exciting and terrifying than ever before. “Across the park’s Midway area, visitors 18 and over can also explore “Cupid’s Love Den”, a haven of debauchery run by a demented version of the mythological troublemaker. Detailed sets, strategic lighting, chilling sound effects, and terrifying costumes further set the stage before live actors strike for the kill. “Personally, I am always looking for fun and different things to do with my husband,” adds Operations Director Jessica Quarrick. “I love that we offer that here at Haunted Hills Estate Scream Park. Not only do we thrive to be one of your Halloween destinations, but we are also putting our own spin on other holidays throughout the year to offer something fun and different for couples, friends, and families. In addition to the fact that I love that we give this to the community, I also love that we give our staff an opportunity to keep Halloween pumping through their veins while they wait for the next haunt season. “Valentine’s

Fear Fest will be open on Feb.11th and 12th, Admission to the event starts at $15 per person, and tickets can be purchased either at the event or via their website,HauntedHillsEstate.com
