A Cal U family’s 11-year-old daughter with brain cancer throws first pitch at softball game

The California University of Pennsylvania softball team invited 11-year-old Olivia Sealy of Hiller, Pa., to make the ceremonial first pitch for the doubleheader against Seton Hill at Lilley Field, California, Pa. on Saturday, May 1, 2021.
Olivia has brain cancer.
Accompanied on the pitching mound by her parents, Ron and Shannon, brother Colin, Head Coach Rick Bertagnolli and Assistant Coach Natalya Smarra, Olivia throws the ball to catcher Brooke Wilson.
She was also presented with a softball signed by all the members of the team.
Olivia’s father, Ron, is Cal U’s athletic practice fields foreman.
