UPDATE:

To all students, faculty and staff,

As our campus community mourns the loss of a promising student, you are invited to attend a virtual memorial for Jamain Stephens, who passed away earlier this week. We will celebrate Jamain’s life beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10.

All members of the Cal U community are welcome to gather on Zoom to honor Jamain, a senior in the business administration program and a member of the Vulcans football team.

We especially welcome our student-athletes, who have been separated from their teammates because in-person athletics competition, practices and training activities have not taken place this semester. Since our University is operating remotely, this virtual gathering will be an opportunity for our Cal U family to come together safely, reflect and remember Jamain.
