This year’s theme was “Boo’s & Brews,” members of clubs and orgs. attended to compete in the annual mocktail competition. This year’s event showcased spooky, Halloween-themed drinks, such as Cal Choir’s “Phantom Fizz” and Sigma Kappa’s “ Vampire Blood.” Decorations and club handouts such as candy, promotional items, and more also appeared at many tables. The Mix Off featured a DJ set provided by WCal, filling the Performance Center with spooky and nostalgic tunes.

Attendees moved from table to table, taste-testing each club and organization’s creations. Reviews could be overheard from each corner of the performance center of students discussing which drinks were scary-good or just plain scary.

Throughout the event, judges visited each table to decide which was the best of the night in multiple categories. Students were able to vote on the fan favorite via a Microsoft Form that could be accessed through a QR code in the Performance Center. Winners of each category, as well as three basket raffles sponsored by AVI, PennWest Pantry, and Greek life, were announced at the end of the event.
