Penn West’s Welcome Weekend drew 2,051 participants to the university community, showcasing the school’s diversity and spirit.
Students from 33 states and 15 countries came together to celebrate the beginning of the academic year. The event also welcomed hometown Pennsylvanians, with attendees representing 59 counties throughout the state.

The top five most common names were Ava, Emma, Abigail, Madison, and Isabella.
The top majors were Criminal Justice, Medical Imaging Sciences, and Early Childhood & Elementary Education.
The most common birthday months were October, August, and March, so many new students will be celebrating their special days soon.
