Penn West California students have directed, choreographed, and designed this show completely on their own!
The director Quenten Zboyovsky states, “This year I had the opportunity to direct Evening of Creativity. This show is a celebration of storytelling, emotion, and timeless magic of Broadway. Our theme, Best of Broadway, takes you on a journey through iconic melodies and heartfelt narratives that captivated audiences for generations. This production isn’t only a tribute to Broadway’s finest but also a reflection of the dedication and passion within our campus community. We hope this show can inspire, uplift and remind you of the enduring magic of the stage”.
The stage manager Emily Bittner says, “EOC is so special because it’s a fully student-run production. My favorite thing is watching the show grow from nothing to a showcase of all the talented people we have in our department. This is not only performers but our designers, writers, and so many more! I loved working alongside Quen, he put so much into this and I can’t wait to see all our hard work pay off.”
“Evening of Creativity” (“EOC”) will run this Saturday, April 26, at 7:30 pm and Sunday, April 27, at 2:00 pm.
