(Oct. 13, 2016)      Members of Cal U’s faculty union, APSCUF, held an information session outside the Natali Student Center on Thursday, Oct. 13 to meet with students to answer any questions they may have about contract negotiations with the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and what would happen in the event of a strike.     The teacher’s union, which represents about 5,500 workers at schools in the state system, including Cal U,  set a strike date for Wednesday, Oct. 19, which they say will happen unless a settlement with the state is reached beforehand.
