Faculty union president live-streams press conference on Facebook, announces a strike date has been set unless agreement reached sooner

APSCUF, the union representing faculty and coaches at 14 state-owned universities, including California University, says its members will strike by October 19 if a new contract settlement is not reached.
Union President Dr. Kenneth Mash fielded questions from reporters at a press conference in Hershey, Pa. on Friday, Sept. 23. The union broadcast the press conference live on its Facebook page at Facebook.com/APSCUF.
